The ACA received correspondence from an NIH Program Director regarding an opportunity that may interest our members. Please note that this is not an ACA-sponsored activity, and we do not have further details about the RFI or access to its results. Participation is entirely up to you as an individual.

Dear ACA,

As you may have noticed, on Friday May 17 NIGMS issued a Request for Information (RFI), NOT-24-019, to assist in the evaluation of the current Mature Synchrotron Resource (MSR) program as well as provide input to inform future decisions about the structure and operations of the program. The information requested includes evaluations of the strengths and challenges for the current program, how the program might be improved, comments on relative use of other non-synchrotron based technologies and anticipated future needs/technologies. Please see the RFI for the full list of requested information. Responses are due via the website listed in the RFI, https://www.research.net/r/P30_RFI, by June 17, 2024.

Regards,
Tom
