Our committees are where members come together to help guide the direction of the Association. Through shared expertise and service, committee members contribute to governance, program development, and community initiatives that strengthen and sustain our work. Whether standing or ad hoc, each committee plays a vital role in advancing the Association’s mission and supporting its members.

Communications Committee [Standing Committee]

 Oversees public communications and outreach on behalf of the American Crystallographic Association and the structural science community. The Committee supports ACA publications, digital engagement, and reviews requests for outreach funding, making recommendations to Council.

Nominating Committee [Standing Committee]
2026 Composition Leads the nomination process for elected positions within ACA governance, including Council and key standing committees. The Committee ensures a transparent process and works to assemble strong and diverse slates of candidates.
