The American Crystallographic Association is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Council, Committee, and Special Interest Group (SIG) elections!

Each year, ACA members play a vital role in shaping the direction of our organization by selecting the dedicated individuals who will lead, guide, and represent our community.

This year’s ballot includes candidates for positions across the ACA Council, key standing committees, and our vibrant SIGs—each bringing unique experience and enthusiasm for advancing the structural science community.

We encourage all members to review the candidate bios and statements, learn about their visions for the ACA, and make your voice heard by casting your vote. Active membership and updated SIG affiliations are required to participate in the election process, so please ensure your profile is current before voting begins.

Voting will close on November 14, 2025, after which all candidates will be notified of the results. Once notifications are complete, the election winners will be formally announced to the membership.

Election & Voting Information

The 2025 ACA Election will open on October 30, 2025, and close at 11:59 PM (U.S. Eastern Time) on November 14, 2025.

Voting will be conducted online via secure electronic ballot.

On October 30, all eligible ACA members in good standing will receive an email containing voting instructions, a personalized voting link, and your member number. You’ll need these details to log in and cast your votes for Council and Committee positions.

Please note: You may only vote for SIG officers in the Scientific Interest Groups (SIGs) of which you are an official member.  To ensure your eligibility, log in to your ACA account before voting begins and confirm that you are enrolled in all SIGs you wish to participate in.
